Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department is a specialized branch of chemistry that focuses on the study, design, development, and analysis of pharmaceutical compounds. Pharmaceutical chemistry is the study of basic life-related pharmaceuticals and how they interact chemically with life. It is based on organic, inorganic, physical, medicinal, analytical, and biochemistry, it serves as a foundation for many other research areas.

Students are successfully trained by the pharmaceutical chemistry department to include every aspect of chemistry into many different kinds of pharmaceutical and medical science research projects. Each laboratory in the department of pharmaceutical chemistry includes research associated with the development and discovery of new drugs.
